Holroyd Components Ltd have been manufacturers of industrial electric heating elements since 1972, specialising in the design and manufacturing of bespoke flexible heater mats. With an ethos of using high quality materials, continual investment in new machinery and providing first class customer service we have maintained our standing as Europe’s market leader in surface heating systems.

To maintain the high standard of quality and service that our customers have come to expect, Holroyd Components Ltd have an ongoing programme of investment in plant, machinery and resources. This has enabled us to offer high quality heating products, in accordance with an ISO9001:2015 Quality System with a fast, flexible and efficient delivery for both small quantity and large batch orders.

Holroyd Components recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, and we encourage customers and suppliers to do the same. We seek to ensure that our operations do not have a negative impact on the environment, promote the effective management of natural resources and encourage energy efficiency as well as waste minimisation and recycling where economically viable means of doing so are available.

Specifically

  • We will minimise the use of paper in the office.
  • We will reduce packaging as much as possible.
  • We will seek to buy recycled and recyclable paper products.
  • We will reuse and recycle all paper where possible.
  • Lights and electrical equipment will be switched off when not in use.
  • Heating will be adjusted with energy consumption in mind.
  • We will reduce the need to travel, restricting to necessity trips only.
  • We will promote the use of travel alternatives such as e-mail or video/phone conferencing.
  • We will only use licensed and appropriate organisations to dispose of waste.
  • We will work with suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors to improve their environmental performance.
  • We will use local labour and materials where available to reduce CO2 and help the community.

Corporate & Social Responsibility

Holroyd Components Ltd aim to be sensitive to the local community's cultural, social and economic needs, and seek to ensure their activities do not harm the communities as places to work and live in.

At Holroyd, we work hard to benefit others both in the local and wider community, since 2017 we have raised £163,000 through charity donations, fundraising activities, supporting local clubs and events.
