Turbine Repair

As we rely more and more on renewable energy, wind energy has become more prevalent to our day to day lives. A typical wind turbine can have as many as 8,000 separate components, and Holroyd heater products are used in both the construction and operation in onshore and offshore projects.

Heater Jackets are also used in the repair of wind turbine blades. These jackets used alongside a control system provide consistent heating to cure the repair effectively every time.

Biomass Processing

As well as wind energy, our heaters are used in the biomass process and the production of biofuels from plant and animal waste.

Solar Panels

Holroyd’s silicone heaters are placed on solar panels to keep them free of frost, ice or snow. Another use of our heating components and equipment is to aid the heating of water supplies when the heaters are used in conjunction with the solar panels.
