For applications requiring precise and consistent temperature control, the HSSD Digital Range drum heater is an ideal solution for heating products contained in steel drums. The silicone side heater reduces the viscosity of materials such as soaps, fats, foodstuffs, varnishes and chemicals, enabling efficient pumping or pouring.

Accurate digital temperature control ensures stable and even heating, helping to protect sensitive materials from overheating and the formation of hotspots. This makes the Digital Range particularly suitable for processes where temperature accuracy is critical.

Heating is delivered by accurately positioned PFA-coated multi-stranded resistance wires, laid widthways throughout the heater to ensure uniform heat distribution. The protective coating prevents conductor wear often seen in lower-cost alternatives, helping to maintain electrical insulation and safe operation throughout the heater’s service life.

The heater is fitted with a digital thermostat for precise temperature setting and control, and is secured using a simple hook and spring fixing system for fast, reliable installation.

Products can also be supplied with identification and batch numbering to support full manufacturing traceability, with client branding and logos available upon request.
