For heating products contained in steel drums quickly and efficiently, the HSSD Performance Range drum heater is an ideal solution. It reduces the viscosity of materials such as soaps, fats, foodstuffs, varnishes and chemicals, allowing them to be pumped or poured with ease.

The Performance range delivers fast, powerful heating and applies heat evenly across the drum surface to eliminate hotspots. This helps protect temperature-sensitive materials and prevent damage to products such as sugars.

Heating is delivered by accurately positioned PFA-coated multi-strand resistance wire, laid widthways throughout the heater to ensure even heat distribution. The PFA coating provides enhanced electrical safety and is resistant to impact damage and wear through use.

Reliable temperature control is provided via a 0–120°C capillary thermostat, and a simple hook and spring fixing arrangement allows swift, secure installation.

Each heater can also be marked with identification and batch information to support manufacturing traceability, with custom branding and logos available on request.
