Holroyd's flexible silicone heaters offer a versatile heating solution that are designed with a robust construction and suited to a wide range of applications. The heating element is embedded between layers of silicone material and are manufactured with either an Etched Foil or Wire Wound element, depending on the specific requirements of your surface heating project.

The Etched Foil construction provides excellent heat distribution and rapid heat-up capabilities, making it ideal for demanding applications like aerospace, medical devices, electronic enclosures and food service equipment. The Wire Wound option is perfect for applications where the heater may need to be moved or adjuste frequently, such as in pipe curing, industrial tanks, chemical storage drums and machine beds.

Etched Foil heaters are suitable for customers who require higher quantities, as they have a lower unit cost in volume as a result of our more autonomous and advanced machining technology, whereas Wire Wound heaters can be more suitable for lower quantity requirements due to their hand-built construction. However, both constructions can be manufactured in high or low volumes. Each application is reviewed by our skilled Design and Engineering team who will advise on the best solution.

Our flexible silicone heaters are manufactured to fully customised bespoke shapes, dimensions and fixing methods to suit your needs. They support a broad range of voltages and wattages with options to integrate controllers, sensors and thermal insulation, for precise temperature control and safe operation. For extra thermal insulation and to reduce the heat losses on the application, we can also offer silicone foam of various thicknesses fitted to the heaters.

All of our products can be offered with quick turnaround times, with an average despatch time of 3 weeks from receipt of order, available as standard. However, in cases of machinery breakdown or urgent demands, our fast-track service can be used and reduce despatch time to a matter of days!
