For heating metal drums and vessels quickly and efficiently, the HSSD silicone side drum heater is an ideal choice. This metal drum heater is made of flexible and durable silicone rubber that can conform to the diameter of the drum and provide even heat distribution across the heating surface. The silicone rubber also resists moisture, chemicals and abrasion, making it suitable for harsh environments.

The HSSD heater can reach high temperatures up to 200°C and has a low thermal mass, which means it can heat up and cool down rapidly. To ensure accurate and safe temperature regulation, the drum heater comes with either a capillary or a digital thermostat that can be adjusted to your desired setting. The capillary thermostat uses a liquid-filled sensor to measure the temperature and switch the heater on or off accordingly. The digital thermostat uses PT100 sensor which relays back to the digital thermostat. This thermostat has a digital display and buttons to set and monitor the temperature with high precision.

The HSSD silicone drum heater is easy to install and remove, thanks to its hooks and springs fixing closure system and plug-and-play design. A standard stock range for 25L - 200L is available within a few days. Bespoke heaters can be manufactured to suit the diameter and height of the vessel in your application.
