Press Heaters

Holroyd design and manufacture a variation of our wire wound heaters specifically for use on industrial presses. These heaters are used to heat the platens of various presses, and our silicone wire wound heaters provide a robust solution to this application.

By using extra layers of silicone with the power leads often placed in the thickness these heaters are well suited to deal with the pressure from the platens.

These heaters are often bespoke designs and can be designed based on existing heaters which are already used in the presses, giving a perfect solution to press heating issues.

Press heaters are often shaped at acute angles and supplied with holes or cut outs. We actually use these heaters on our own hydraulic presses here at Holroyd.
